SECURITY SYSTEMS - INSTALLATION ENGINEER

 

You should have experience in most of the following systems:

  • Access Control – Paxton, Impro. 
  • Door Entry - Comelit, Fermax, Btchino, BPT, Urmet.
  • Intruder Alarms - Texecom, Visionic, Pyronix, Menvier, Gardtec, Scantronic.
  • CCTV - Hikvision, Samsung, Genie, Pelco, Panasonic.

Skills / Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Prepared to travel within the M25 and surrounding areas.
  • Able to pass a CRB / DBS check and full security screening for the security industry.
  • Must be a holder of a CSCS or ECS card.
  • IP CCTV knowledge essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Hard working, professional and a positive attitude.
  • Able to work under pressure, and flexible and responsive to challenges.
  • Well organised and excellent time management.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Technically minded.

MULTIROOM - AV - AUTOMATION ENGINEER

 

Skills / Requirements:

  • All candidates must have at least 2-3 years experience within the AV/Home  Automation industry.
  • Experience in some or all of the following areas: Multi-room Audio Visual Systems, Home Cinema, Home Automation.  
  • Ability to be able to install Large TVs and Projector equipment etc.
  • Competent  Audio Visual knowledge including connection of audio and video equipment and terminating Cat5/6 sockets and equipment.
  • Good fault finding skills to resolve technical issues.
  • Good practical skills and an understanding of construction procedures
  • Be efficient, hardworking and able to stay calm under pressure.
  • Ability to install to a high standard including building and connecting AV racks in a neat and efficient manner including labelling.
  • Located geographically in or around the M25.
  • Candidate will require a full UK driving license.
  • Commitment  to safe working practices and maintaining Health and Safety requirements.
  • Must  have ECS card.

TRAINEE AV - AUTOMATION ENGINEER

 

The role involves working as part of a team carrying out the installation of high end Audio Visual and Home Automation systems. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated with willingness to learn and succeed.

Skills / Requirements: 

  • Ability to be physically install Large TVs and Projector equipment etc, in ceiling  speakers, control systems & AV equipment racks.
  • Assisting a Senior engineer as required.
  • Be efficient, hardworking and able to stay calm under pressure.

CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR

 

Daily tasks for the Customer Service Coordinator will include: 

• Booking of all appointments for customers; for servicing and maintenance of alarm systems 

• Sending jobs to engineers 

• Monitoring and following through to completion of jobs 

• Preparing daily report for director 

• Preparing small works quotes to customers 

• Liaising with staff regarding telephone queries and messages

• Updating of in house CASH system (training will be provided) 

• Assisting general office duties when required 

A large portion of the day is spent on the telephone, so a good patient manner is vital in this role. It is a fast paced job and a hand on approach is required. 

Desired skills are:

• Polite Telephone manner 

• PC literate- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook 

• High attention to detail

Accounts administrator

 A vacancy has arisen within our company for an Accounts Administrator to work alongside our Accounts Team, and carry out ad hoc office duties. 


The role and responsibilities:

  • Oversee the whole of Purchase Ledger and part of General Ledger
  • Prepare and make BACS payments
  • Bank reconciliation on a daily basis
  • Card payment reconciliation
  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
  • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
  • Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
  • Data entry in to Sage Accounting Software
  • Preparation of cash flow information
  • Matching Invoices to Purchase Orders
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Dealing with internal and external queries in a timely fashion
  • Processing Cash Book Posting
  • Other duties may involve:
  • Managing petty cash transactions
  • Managing incoming and outgoing Finance post
  • Dealing with cheque payments at local branch
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

Personal requirements:

  • Solid Accounts Receivable experience essential
  • Sage 50 experience essential
  • Attention to detail
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • A team player, with a focused and keen attitude to work
