service engineer

Overview

To service and fault find Security systems as necessary.


Expected Deliverables


Engineering

  • Able to service and maintain Security systems,      including Intruder Alarms, Access Control & CCTV of various sizes and complexity
  • Experience with Texecom, Pyronix, Hikvision,      Paxton, Comelit, Fermax 
  • Good understanding of IP protocols and      networking infrastructure 
  • Accurate and efficient fault reporting
  • To be an active member of the on-call team
  • At the completion of each visit update PDA      system with full detailed report and relevant associated documents.
  • Working under own initiative
  • Provide system training to customers 
  • Ensure that company vehicle is stocked up with      the appropriate spares, consumables and test equipment required to      complete assigned tasks


Administration

  • Provide good quality written details of activities completed at customers’ sites.
  • Fully complete all paperwork/time      sheets/emails in a timely manner
  • Make recommendations for additions/replacements      to improve customers’ existing systems and feed this information back to      the Company, where necessary.
  • Provide accurate information to enable      quotations to be prepared for the customer


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a reliable, courteous, efficient and      effective service.
  • Maintain a positive image of the company to      the customer at all times, through high standards of dress and customer      communications.
  • Attend and contribute to regular engineers’      meetings.
  • Maintain a high level of personal performance      and attendance
  • A flexible approach to working hours.
  • Adhere to the company’s Management Systems.
  • Positive can-do attitude is essential as you      need to be able to work under own initiative


Qualifications and experience required

Demonstratable experience in a similar role

Full Driving Licence

Working knowledge of MS Office specifically Excel.

ECS Card 


Remuneration range and benefits available

Salary: negotiable, depending on experience up to £37,000.00
40 hours a week. 08:00-17:00

Overtime available – opportunity to earn more if desired.

Stand by paid for on-call rota.
Travel time paid after 60 min each way.
25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
Company Laptop.
Company Phone Van + fuel card.

lead security engineer

Overview

To carry out small installation works and provide customer training.

MULTIROOM - AV - AUTOMATION ENGINEER

 

Skills / Requirements:

  • All candidates must have at least 2-3 years experience within the AV/Home  Automation industry.
  • Experience in some or all of the following areas: Multi-room Audio Visual Systems, Home Cinema, Home Automation.  
  • Ability to be able to install Large TVs and Projector equipment etc.
  • Competent  Audio Visual knowledge including connection of audio and video equipment and terminating Cat5/6 sockets and equipment.
  • Good fault finding skills to resolve technical issues.
  • Good practical skills and an understanding of construction procedures
  • Be efficient, hardworking and able to stay calm under pressure.
  • Ability to install to a high standard including building and connecting AV racks in a neat and efficient manner including labelling.
  • Located geographically in or around the M25.
  • Candidate will require a full UK driving license.
  • Commitment  to safe working practices and maintaining Health and Safety requirements.
  • Must  have ECS card.
